I attended Stony Brook University where I earned my Bachelor of Science with a Biochemistry concentration. I graduated magna cum laude. While pursuing my undergrad I was a teaching assistant for Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry 1, and Organic Chemistry 2.Right now I'm working towards a master's degree in Biochemistry. I find enjoyment from helping my peers with their work in classes such as Physics, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, and General Chemistry. It's fun to help them learn to master really complex concepts in tough courses. I have experience in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Algebra 3/4, Pre-Calc, Calculus 1, Elementary Math, Physiology, Physical Science, Biology, Biochemistry, various levels of Spanish, Reading, American History, English, Social Studies, Study Skills and Organization, and Languages.After I finish grad school, I'd like to work towards becoming a physician. I'm applying to medical school right now. When I'm not working or studying, I like to work on my fitness. I enjoy basketball, running, and going to the gym. I also spend my time going to the movies and reading magazines about health and fitness. I am a volunteer firefighter and I have my EMT certification.
